From Things Back to Thoughts: Seeing with Divine Eyes

– Posted in: Beca’s Blog

Once you understand that things are thoughts made manifest, it’s time to take the next crucial step: move things back to thoughts.

But not human thoughts—the Infinite’s thoughts.

The Journey from Thought to Thing

Let’s begin with this foundational truth: things are thoughts made visible.
How we perceive the world literally shapes the world we experience.

Designers, architects, inventors, and visionaries first conceive an idea in thought, and depending on its complexity, eventually that thought becomes reality.

Yes, thoughts become things.

But they also become movements, institutions, ideologies, and cultural norms. Every physical object, every social structure, every belief system began as someone’s idea.

First comes the thought. Then comes the thing.

And here’s what’s crucial to understand: that “thing” carries within it all the beliefs, perceptions, hopes, dreams—and limitations—of those who created it.

Not all of these embedded qualities are beneficial.

When my children were young, I wouldn’t allow them to play with toy guns, not even pretend ones. The game of “cowboys and Indians” appalled me because of what it was teaching: that some people are less valuable than others and can therefore be eliminated.

I could see how these seemingly innocent games were actually thoughts made into playthings, carrying within them deeply harmful beliefs about human worth.

This is how thoughts become not just things, but events and experiences that shape our collective reality.

The First Step: Recognition

Recognizing this process is the crucial first step. What we perceive as reality expands and magnifies in our experience. Our thoughts don’t just reflect the world—they actively participate in creating what we experience.

But now it’s time to take the transformative next step.

The Revolutionary Next Step

We must learn to move things back to their true origin—not their human origin with all its limitations and distortions, but their divine source: the Infinite’s perfect thoughts.

This isn’t easy because we’re conditioned to think in human terms, and human thinking is inherently limited.

We operate under the collective agreement that the world is a purely material place governed by material laws, scarcity, and separation.

But we can transcend this limitation.

We can learn to see that what appears before us is actually a symbol of the Infinite expressing itself in unlimited goodness, beauty, and love.

But What About All the Ugliness?

I know what you’re thinking: “There’s so much in this world that clearly isn’t good, beautiful, or loving.”

But what if the ugliness, the hatred, the greed, the violence—what if all of that is the lie?
And what if we are the ones called to refute that lie by seeing past it to the divine truth beneath?

What if our job is to look beyond the surface appearances of revenge, greed, and dehumanization, and discover the original thought of the Divine that lies at the core of everything?

The Practice of Spiritual Translation and Perception.

Here’s how this works practically: translate everything material back into its spiritual substance using qualities that reflect divine intelligence.

A shoe isn’t just leather and rubber—it represents the divine qualities of support, protection, and the ability to help us move forward on our journey.

A home isn’t just wood and brick—it embodies divine shelter, security, and the love that creates sanctuary.

Every material thing can be translated back to reveal its spiritual essence, its connection to infinite intelligence and unconditional love.

When we consistently practice this spiritual translation, something remarkable begins to happen: everything that isn’t based on divine love and wisdom starts to dissolve from our experience.

This Isn’t Wishful Thinking

This isn’t magical thinking or denial of reality.

This is a practice that requires discipline and commitment. But it can be proven by each of us, one perception at a time, one belief at a time, one action at a time.

Here’s your experiment: Begin to perceive, believe, and act on the idea that infinite intelligence is the true substance behind all appearances.

Watch what changes in your experience.

As I always say, what you perceive to be reality magnifies in your life. Or perhaps you prefer how Wayne Dyer expressed it: “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

Either way, the principle is the same.

Our Greatest Opportunity

Change what you accept as true about the world and the people in it.

Act from this new understanding. Keep practicing this shift in perception.

This may be our best—perhaps our only—chance of transforming the collective insanity of greed, corruption, and war that seems to dominate our world.

When enough of us learn to see with divine eyes, to translate the material back to the spiritual, to recognize the Infinite’s perfect thoughts behind all appearances, we don’t just change our individual experience—we help heal the world.

The revolution begins with how you see. What will you choose to perceive today?

Framework of Human BeliefsWe don’t always stop and think about the fact that we live within a framework of human beliefs. But we do. It takes vision, imagination, and courage to look outside of what everyone else thinks is true to discover a world far beyond our 3-D version of life. But every bit of progress we have made is a result of someone doing just that. Why not us?thetruth4today.com/subscribe/ ... See MoreSee Less
